Zac Efron Sincerely Thanks Fan on Instagram
Um, this is the sweetest. The last time we heard about ZE, it was for his drug rehab/breaking his jaw. Well. He was just at FB headquarters and met an employee who is a huge fan. Apparently, she mad such an impression on him that he gave her a HUGE hug and also wrote her a personal note on instagram: “I was able to look into your eyes and remember why I do what I do and will never stop. I needed that, more than you will ever know and just wanted to say thanks.” Awwwwwwww that makes me really happy!!!!
Lindsay Lohan: Partying it Up in London
Even though she’s a recovering addict, she’s been partying it up in London by making appearances at night clubs. She snags between $5k and $15k for each gig. And to her credit, we hear that she’s staying sober. Rock on, Linds.
Jezebel.com Offering $10k for Un-retouched Lena Dunham Pics
Ohhhh my. So, LD from Girls is very proud and unashamed of her body, which isn’t exactly a size-2-perfect-model body. I think it’s great how comfortable she is in her own skin. She’s on the cover of Vogue, and she looks absolutely beautiful. A web site named Jezebel noticed this as well, but they also are pretty sure that she’s been photoshopped. So, they’re offering $10k to Vogue for un-retouched photos of LD in an effort to bring awareness to the fact that they photoshopped someone who is incredibly comfortable in her own skin. Lena found out about this and her response is great… she said they should just give the $10k to charity and order HBO to see her naked on the show Girls instead. HAHA!
Miley Cyrus’ Concert Will be Awesome
And I’m NOT joking about this. She’s coming to town in April and said that she’s going to do a bunch of acoustic performances because she wants people to walk away knowing that she can sing (because she indeed can). She also said that she’s sort of a hoarder, so she’s going to bring her own personal items to her shows and give them away to her fans. SO COOL!
Lil Za Pulls the Race Card
Well, this is interesting. The kid who lives with Bieber and was arrested for cocaine (and/or Molly, Xanax) during the house search earlier this week is now pulling the race card. He tweeted: “Some stuff I’ve done has been wrong yes. but look at the position I’m in and the color of my skin. Cocaine? Really?” …So, is he trying to say that because he’s black, he could never do cocaine and that it was Bieber’s? Or someone else’s entirely? What in all of the hell is happening!? I can’t wait for more details to come out.
American Idol is Dying
Seriously. It premiered on Wednesday and Thursday. The ratings are in for Wednesday’s premiere and it’s pretty horrible. They had the worst ratings since season 1; only 15 million viewers watched on Wednesday. This is the first time they’ve had any episode watched by less than 20 million people. Ouch.
Lady Gaga Reaches out to Pregnant Fan
This is great. She has a social networking web site, LittleMonsters.com, where her fans can interact with one another. She noticed a girl who wrote a post about being pregnant and afraid to tell her parents, especially her father. Well, Mother Monster reached out to the girl and encouraged her to speak with her mom first. She told her not to be scared, that she’ll be okay and she just needs to build herself a support system with her parents right now. So sweet.
